Instructions for submitting papers
- Both the abstract and the final paper must be written in one of the official languages of the Congress (Portuguese, English or Spanish)
- At least one author must be registered for the congress.
- Each registered participant may submit up to TWO papers.
- The paper will only be accepted if it complies with the rules.
- The paper has to be submitted using the application.
- If the paper is submitted as an attachment, it must be in Word format and using the template provided by the organisation.
- The papers must be submitted indicating the preferred presentation method (oral or poster).
- When submitting the paper, authors should choose the most relevant thematic areas; however, the organising committee reserves the right to decide on the most appropriate area.
- Papers will not be accepted from authors who are not duly registered before 9 June 2024.
- The Private Area of each author will be activated for papers to be submitted until their paper is sent for evaluation.
- Should the authors wish to make any corrections from that time and until the paper submission deadline, they should contact the secretariat for approval to submit a new paper and duly notify the reviewers.
- The author of the submission will be informed by email as to whether or not their abstract has been accepted shortly after the end of the evaluation process.
- The lead author will subsequently be sent information on the oral presentation (time, date and length). The full submission guidelines will be published on the congress’s website.
- Selected papers will be reviewed by peers for publication in special issues of the following journals:
- Applied Catalysis B: Environment and Energy (Elsevier).
- Journal of CO2 Utilization (Elsevier).
- Catalysis Today (Elsevier).
- ChemCatChem (Chemistry Europe, Wiley).
- Chemical Engineering and Technology (Chemistry Europe, Wiley).
- Catalysts (MDPI).
